Junior Theresa Zeppetelli made Scarlet Buc history when she placed 2nd in the State in her weight class at the 2022 NJ Girls Wrestling Championships held on February 20, 2022.

Already a county champion and regional finalist, Theresa breezed through the quarterfinals with a pin in 1:09, and claimed a victory in the semifinal as well.   Reflecting on this wrestling season, Theresa says “Looking back, I can honestly say I am so proud of myself and how much I accomplished.   I became a county champ, regional finalist and even became 2nd in the state of New Jersey.   For the future, my goals are to keep my county champ title, become regional champion and possibly state champion.  I can’t wait for next season!”
