Students with Northstar HelicopterMr. Steffen's Aviation class had the opportunity for a visit from the Northstar crew from the New Jersey State Police.  Students were able to witness the landing on the field in Veterans Park.  The pilots and flight crew explained the role of Northstar in various operations, from medical transport to assisting with search-and-rescue missions. It was incredible to get up and close with the aircraft and experience rotor downwash!
